I am having some side effects of taking Zomig. Nothing serious how long does it usually last.
A: 5 hours usually.
Q: What can I use along with Zomig for my migraines?
I was using Celebrex but my insurance refuses to pay for it now and I can’t afford to pay for it out of pocket.

Q: Does the medicine, ZOMIG and Cyproheptad work well for migraines?
I just got the medication ZOMIG and Cypropheptad for my migraines and i am going to a concert tomorrow. and my migraines are caused by flashing lights and loud music. so i was wondering if the medacine would help my migraines at the concert?
so if anyone take the same medication and get ora’s in their eyes [black dots] please tell me and let me know if the medicine works.
please and thank you(:
A: yes it does
Q: Does naproxen help boost the effects of zomig?
I know naproxen helps imitrex but does it help zomig?
A: Not in a pharmacokinetic way. I don’t see where they interact at all to potentiate or interfere with each other.
Q: Are their big side affects to using Zomig? Is this helpful to relieve migraines if others haven’t worked?
A: In my experience, Zomig seems to be about as effective as most other triptans. However, the one thing to consider is that each chemical agent should be given a shot. Sometimes Morphine doesn’t work well on certain people, despite the fact that it’s efficacy as a pain medication are undisputed. It is just that those peoples’ bodies didn’t respond well to it. So if you’ve never tried Zomig, don’t write it off and never try it just because you’ve tried drugs like it that haven’t worked. Give it a chance and it may have a better response from your body.
Q: How do you use zomig nasal spray?
do you sniff? do you put a squirt in each nostril?
i hae a 5mg sample…
but lost the instructions.
A: I put one finger over the nostril that I am not going to squirt into, exhale and put the applicator in the other nostil and push the bottom of the applicator up then massage that nostril for a couple of seconds. I only use it in one nostril, the side where my migraine is and find that it ususally works within a few minutes.
Q: where can i find the prescription medication of zomig at rock bottom prices? i want to buy at cheap price.?
it can be of any mg amount but the most cheap prices available. doctor had already told me that it would be expensive but don’t know if to buy online or at store like walmart, cvs, or walgreens? rsvp asap! thanks.
A: The following site is in Canada:

Q: Has anyone had any experience with the following mirgraine medicines? Replax, frove (sp), Maxalt and zomig?
I have been given samples and am afraid of the side effects of each. What have others experienced?
A: These are all Triptan drugs. They are the best type of drugs available for migraine.
Q: What is the most effective medication for migraine.Has anyone tried zomig?

Q: Anyone have ‘any’ experience with Zomig or Bedranol?
I have been prescribed Zomig Zolmitriptan, 1 to be taken at the onset of my severe searing painful headache and also Bedranol, 1 to be taken each morning.
Anyone else used these bad drugs before?
Any experience, or thoughts on these?
Hopefully someone somewhere will have some medical info or experience on these and will share it on here online.
thanks in advance
A: zomig is pert of the triptan family and they are great for migraines!
bedranol however you must be careful with as they are a beta blocker and regulate your heartbeat. – you must not just stop taking them, you MUST do it under doctors supervision.
it taken as prescribed they are very effective
Q: any alternative medications for migraines outside of zomig/immotrex, which have become too expensive?
A: There is a med called Topomax- I didnt like the effects.
I tried a LOW lever BP medication and doing a lot better- Off of that and no more Migraine medication.
It may have something to do witht he fact that I have 2 spinal colum stimulators. one for my back and the other bladder
I was having kidney infections all the time.. and doing soo much better
Q: is there anywhere on-line where i can buy the migraine treatment (zomig)?
or is there something else i can try,i take naramig,it works, but,iv to go to bed for at least 2 hours, and thats no use if im at work!iv suffered migraine for near 40 yr,and iv been regularly to see many, many doctors, but they have NO idea what im on about. I have about 8 attacks a month!
A: There are a number of issues here. I find it difficult to believe that doctors have not been able to help you with your migraines. At 8/month you are certainly eligible to try a migraine preventer. This is taken every day and the most effective is probably Sanomigran. Zomig is one of the may specific anti-migraine drugs that are available on prescription and would be much cheaper this way, especially if you do still end up needing 8/month. The base cost of 8 x 5mg tablets, WITHOUT the pharmacy’s profit added on would be £35.
Q: I was on migraine medication zomig taken alot this month just discovered im 1 mnth preg will this effect ?
i was wondering if this will harm the baby or its growth i am so nervous also do you think it may cause a miscarriage ?

While considered dangerous, Zomig is not considered extremely dangerous. You do need to talk to your doctor ASAP because you’ll probably need to stop taking it.
Q: Anyone take Zoloft and Zomig together? I am worried about possible drug interactions!?
I take 50mg zoloft and Zomig nasal spray
A: Were both meds prescribed by the same doctor? If not, did you let either of the prescribing physicians know you were taking both meds? If they were prescribed by the same doctor, please call and make sure he/she wants you to take them together.
