Q: Do you suffer from migraine headaches?If so,what prescription(s) do you use?
I am 30 years old.I have suffered from migraines since i was 18 years old.I use three different prescriptions,but none of them work any longer.(I use Relpax,Imitrex & Axert.)When those stopped working i started to buy Excedrin Migraine.I guess my body became immune to it all because nothing works anymore.Can anyone tell what to ask my doc to prescribe me now? What works for you? ALL suggestions are greatly Appreciated!
A: You might consider getting off the scripts and try something natural and find out what your trigger points are. Get rid of the trigger points gets rid of the migraines.
Q: My son has a terrible stomach ache. Any suggestions? Please help!?
My poor son. He’s 29 yrs old. We had to busy a day yesterday and we didn’t make it grocery shopping so we have little to eat. My son was very hungry last night and he ate a smoothie (froz yogurt, grape juice and mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries etc.). I drank a cup of the smoothie and he drank as usual 2 cups maybe. Then a short while later I ate some humus and bread and then my son ate the same except he warmed up his pita bread and he ate probably half of a good sized container of humus. Then he ends up very sick a couple hours later. His chest hurt and his stomach hurt. I told him how to throw up but he wasn’t able to do it. He finally lied down but he’s still in allot of pain. I can tell he can’t sleep. We’ve no car to take him to the emergency room. I’ve been sick with a migraine headache all yesterday and today and unfortunately Walgreens couldn’t fill my Relpax prescription because now medicaid nor medicare doesn’t pay for Relpax. Funny because I been getting Relpax from medicaid and/or medicare for close to 3 years. But my poor son I feel very badly for. Please help! thanks I even tried to pray and God didn’t answer.
One more thing my son ran down to the gas station in all his pain like 2am (in this kind of dangerous city) and bought some pepta bisma. Oh but before that he for some reason decided to take 6 capsules of oxy powder which made his stomach ache worse and gave him chest pains. n my migraine pain I would have went with him to the gas station 3 blocks away but I thought he just went outside for a minute. Please help. I called the emergency room earlier but the lady said she could give out any medical advice; she didn’t even suggest a nurse or doc call us back.
